Africa the way it Really was in the 1930's

I live in Kenya, and the contrast between now and then is revealing and sometimes startling. Aside from some stiff acting and silly hats the tribal pictures are a rare insight into a time gone by -- good and bad -- but the rarest of all are the Pygmys at the end of the movie. They no longer exist! and this is one of the only times they were captured on film. so for all it's shortcomings, Trader Horn has someting rare and special.
