Remake?
Is the new Depp movie, of the same title, a remake of this film? I've only seen parts of this film so I'm not sure, but it seems similar.

no its not a remake. the new one is based on bank robber john dillinger. this public enemy was made around 1931 and john dillinger didnt start robbing banks until 1933-1934 so its impossible to be a remake
