Just watched this for the first time...and the ending seems so uncomfortable. When Hank's boyfriend sings "You Were Meant for Me" to Queenie, he seems so sleazy for going after her, and I never expected her to accept him.

Then poor Hank is doomed to a lonely life on the road?

Bummer.

I hated that the description of the movie says, "a girl flirts with her sister's boyfriend." Queenie was stalked by all these scumbags to be real.

“Willoughby, sir? That’s Willoughby right outside. It’s July. It’s summer. It’s 1888.”

Not just that. There are already signs that Eddie is looking at other women. Both sisters are probably going to be unhappy.
