I thought the special effects were really cute.

Yeah, such a silly scene. Cute at first, but overstays its welcome.

 Language! The thing that means stuff.

Agreed with both the OP and you. The special effects were cute, but the gimmick also did go on for too long.

I though the "bubbles" scene was great and loved every moment of it!!!

that they got him really drunk is very funny if a little naughty....and while I think the sequence is a little long ....the bubbles are lovely and pretty spectacular from a technical perspective for 1926!

and where did they get the booze in Prohibition Hollywood..mmmm
