shareNot going to happen (although the 1980 - or was it '81? - showing was in NYC).
This is a one-shot deal, mainly because the Polyvision setup, hiring the orchestra, the required venue size, licensing issues around the music, and the length of the film itself (roughly 5-1/2 hours) are waaay too expensive for anything extensive.
There also isn't going to be a DVD / Blu-Ray release. (Though the Polyvision doesn't really make sense outside a huge screen anyway.) There are the issues above; plus while Kevin Brownlow and FF Coppola may have made peace so that this showing can happen, I don't see it extending to a much more extensive DVD overshadowing the earlier version with Coppola's father's orchestration.
There have been maybe two London showings in the past couple of decades, based on Brownlow finding extra film elements after the 1980 version (what's showing is the most recent version Brownlow's put together, with the Carl Davis score). There might be a chance for one more showing in a few years, but the probability of finding enough "new," usable film elements to justify another version is dropping as time goes on. This might be about it for new showings.
LOL, everything you ever wanted to know about the rediscovery of Napoleon. (Actually, you should read Brownlow's Napoleon book for that. :D)
According to the organizers of the Oakland showing, "No plans are being made to present the restored NAPOLEON in any other American city" (http://www.silentfilm.org/napoleon-faqs.php).
