Has anyone noticed the unusually large number of 1 star ratings for this? Considering the user reviews don't reflect this at all and that, honestly, I don't see how you can give this 1 star, something seems to be a little suspicious. Any ideas?

Stupid trolls.
The 1 star ratings are probably for the bastardised versions of this movie before it was now released in 2017 restored as faithfully as possible. Many movie bufs hate the shortened versions that were released, demanding a full (or as full as possible) version of the movie. And guess what... we now have that!
So people can now start rating this a 10 :)
