This is an outstanding Buster Keaton movie and very funny. Suitable for the whole family. It may be on too late for the kids so you may want to record it for viewing later. Also please double check your tv guide for the time in your area. Don't miss this one if you haven't seen it.

I have a question for fans of this film that caught the TCM broadcast a few nights ago: don't they absolutely ruin the movie? The sepia-tone awful, and the score is simply atrocious. Thank God I went to a screening of it yesterday to cleanse my soul of it! Regular Black and White and with a piano accompaniment, it was perfect. The crowd (which was a full house) was in stitches the entire time.

Funny how tastes vary. I found the music to be quite stunning and am looking for that particular edition to purchase. Maybe you're not as much of a music-lover and prefer something simpler.
shareVary tastes certainly do! But personally, I think TCM butchered the movie when they showcased it. I know their's is not the only copy with a sepia-tone, but it's just ass ugly and doesn't add a thing to the movie, it only takes away.
And it's not that I thought the score was too hideous from a musical standpoint, but I found it to be far too modern and I just find that distracting.
