Teddy Bears' Picnic

First time I saw this online the background score was a mixture which included the Teddy Bears' Picnic.

I saw this film again today with the new score (which I believe is the same one mentioned in the IMDB trivia). Honestly, this new score detracts from the film. It makes it sound too serious, when the original Teddy Bears' song makes it seem light and jovial.

I guess my question is, is this score available on any of the DVD's out there today?

I pretty much figured this out, but in case I ever wind up with amnesia I'm going to go ahead and reply that this was Richard Israel's score and it can be found on the two disc set as one of three possible audio tracks you can choose from.

Thanks me.

The one I heard (included on "The Art of Buster Keaton" DVD set) had the "Teddy Bears' Picnic" music. I agree it fit perfectly with the action, particularly the part where he briefly encountered the bear, but found it anachronistic. What the heck do teddy bears or this music have to do with the Civil War when neither were invented till the early 1900s?
