I have a really hard time accepting Ivor Novello as a potential serial killer. With his soft, pretty looks it's difficult to imagine him even overpowering a girl, let alone murdering one.

I liked the way he moved his hands. They and his fingers were long, like Lon Chaney's in The Phantom of the Opera. I also thought he was sweet and felt bad when the mob started beating him at the end.
shareHave you seen the sound remake from 1932 which was re-titled "The Phantom Fiend" ? It is completely different from the original. Have you seen "I Lived With You", Novello's next to last picture? That's my favorite.
