Feature Film
I was just wondering if this film is considered a feature film or a short film. People seem to think of it as a feature, even though its only around 45 minutes long, so I was just curious. Any thoughts?
shareNarrative. It may have a brisk running time, but it throws in every aspect of narrative found in a feature length (and which you won't find in Buster's shorts). The film was supposed to be feature-length (normal feature running time), but I believe Buster shortened the production.

It's not considered a feature or a short I believe it's called a three reel film which back then was like a medium length film, but I guess everyone just considers it a feature even though techinally it is not.

Features are usually considered to be anything over 1 hour in length. So there ya go.
Normally I only count films over 60 minutes features, but for silent films I think it's reasonable to put anything that's over 40 minutes into the Feature Film Catagory.
