...slipping on a banana peel is funny no matter what year it is. that being said, this is my first buster keaton and one of the few silent films i've seen but man i loved it. hilarious and truly awe inspiring considering it was shot in 1924. i'm looking forward to many more silent films.
shareYou need to check out his other silent shorts, they're HYSTERICAL, and I don't remember but I think in his first independent one, The High Sign, there was also a banana peel gag, or something similar to it, and that short is absolutely one of THE funniest, but for some reason Buster didn't think it was funny enough and held off on releasing it, but it is HILARIOUS.

You are right. I laughed out loud! I was so surprised by all the stunts especially as I would guess they did them all for real, and when he goes "into the movie" and the shots keep changing that was wonderfully unique and creative!
