Help! I didn't catch the end...(Spoilers)

Hi! I was watching La Roue on TCM, and I watched all of it until my mom yelled at me to get to bed. (It was 12:30 on a school night, so...)
I just wanted to know what happened with Norma? Did Ellie really die? The last thing I saw was Ellie fighting with Norma's husband, then he was hanging on the cliff while Sissif, Norma, and Toby were looking for him...then he fell. I reeeaaally wanted to know what happened, so if anyone can just summarize the ending, I would be very grateful! Thanks!

I saw up until he fell then I had to go to bed (work in the morning and boy it was so hard to fall alseep)

Elie dies and Sisif blames Norma for his death. Time passes and Sisif turns blind while Norma lives an unhappy life in the village not far from him. The two eventually reconcile. The ending scene is Sisifs death (it reminded me of Michael Corleones death scene in "The Godfather: Part III").

This was just a short summary of the main events and I'm sure that I've left out some of the key scenes. But I hope you'll find it helpful!
