Amazing! just saw the TCM premiere!

I just finished watching the La Roue on TCM tonight and it was a grand tour de force. The movie is so beautiful and bitterly sweet. I love the movie score with the haunting piano playing over the tragic scenes and the beautiful mountain scapes. I enjoyed the dog Toby a lot! the bond the dog has with the blind Sisif is so warm and makes you feel good inside. My special favorite scene is Toby pulling Sisif with the cross to the top of the mountain.

The whole movie is a 10/10 and I am glad that for once staying up late till 3am paid off in watching this legendary classic :)

Oh my, I just finished watching it and didn't want it to end. This may be hyperbolic but the beauty of this film makes me want to weep with joy. La Roue is superb for many reasons, but I had to share the awe with you that I have for everyone involved in the production of this film. Ah, I love a truly great film.

"Wow. Our town has only had a Whole Foods for three weeks and we already have our first gay kids."
