I just saw this film for the first time. After looking up peoples opinions on it's conclusion, I feel that the reason this film is so great is the viewer is left to determine what it means to them. There is no definite answer. Thank you Portlandia for bringing this film to my attention.

I just saw it for the first time too. I have always loved classic horror so I don't know why I never got around to seeing this movie, but I'm glad I did. I can see why so many people love it and why it is called one of the best horror films of all time.
