Gypsy-Rose went to prison for murdering her abusive mother. She was just released and is now a social media rock star, apparently.
I'm planning to watch her Lifetime docuseries this week. She's also been on The View and interviewed on NBC.

She wasn’t abused. Her and her mother were partners in an elaborate scam where they fooled many people into thinking Gypsy was ill. Gypsy eventually ended up having a sexual awakening and wanted weiners and when her mom disapproved of her acting like such a whore, she decided to get rid of the problem. Gypsy was hooking up and texting multiple men (some married) when her mother found out. She also didn’t like Nick and wanted him to stop coming around. There’s no way Gypsy Nose acted alone. Nick said he only stabbed her four times and he’s never changed his story. Who stabbed DD the other 17 times? Gypsy Nose and Nick had sex next to her mom’s corpse right after the slaying, then left to go to a motel for more sex and eat brownies. We only have Gypsy Nose’s side of the story. DD is dead and Nick refuses to talk. If you watch Dipsy Nose’s interrogation on YouTube, she never once said she was abused, only that DD was trying to keep her and Nick from seeing one another. Dipsy lies like she breathes so we will never know anything as she’s a pathological liar.

shareHello. I vaguely know this story. What happened is my Mother was interested in it, so I played an HBO program for her - I believe it was called "Mommy Dead, Mommy Dearest".
Anyway, I was half paying attention while she watched it. But even with cursory knowledge, it's difficult for one to believe Gypsy was in on it. She was just a baby when it started. She'd have no way of knowing her Mother was bananas. She would simply accept it. As, if one recalls correctly, the Father did.
Yeah, the Mother was a nutcase con artist. But one thinks Gypsy was innocent in the matter. With the murder, who knows? The boy lied, Gypsy lied, who knows what really happened? I recall Gypsy went to jail.
So what is this now? She is out of jail and a media personality? Why would anyone care what Gypsy Rose Blanchard has to say? I feel very sorry for what she went thru as a child. But as I understand it, she is a fully healthy adult now. The Mother is gone. She apparently served her time. I don't know what happened to the the boy (NIck I guess?).
My point is, Gypsy is no longer interesting. One doesn't understand why she would get all this attention.
I was more thinking an extreme case of falling from the ugly tree and hitting every branch on the way down.
