Madala Ranga Rao was once the carafe address of Erra movies. His films 'Yuvatharam Kadilindi', 'Erramallelu', 'Swarajyam' and 'Viplavashankham', which he acted in, not only played phenomenally, but ignited great enthusiasm and excitement among the people. He set up a production company named Navataram Pictures and made films according to his beliefs and earned a lot of fame. His son Madala Ravi also entered the industry as an actor and produced his own film 'Nenu Pham' (2004). While he acted as the hero, Ranga Rao played a powerful role. But Ravi made this film not under the Navataram Pictures banner established by his father but under a new banner called Bharat Productions. He said that Navataram Pictures banner has a lot of value among the people and with the intention of keeping that value, Bharat Productions was set up and the film was made on it.

But after all these years a movie is coming on Navataram Pictures. Madala Ravi has composed the movie Thiyyala on that banner. He revealed in a special interview to Telugu One that the film will start in 2022 itself. "A movie will start this year from Navataram Pictures. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna is writing the script. I will tell you the director later. The movie will hit the screens next year." He said.

In fact, Ravi made his debut as a child actor through his father Ranga Rao's movie 'Erramallelu'. He shot the song "Nampalli Teshanu Kaadi Rajalingo" in that movie.
