Moana is Samoan. Also we already have a Snow white, Sleeping beauty and tangled but look Frozen got created. We can never have too much diversity.

I agree. It's refreshing to see a new character! Now we need some boys in a new Disney film! My grandson is 14 he won't go to these movies with me anymore. Lol

I hope she has a long and successful career as an actress and a singer. I hope she and her family avoid the pitfalls other young actresses encounter when they're thrust into stardom at such a young age.
