Looks like he tried to pick up the dog after removal but it started howeling. The man's got to earn...

It is against the law to hit a dog and abandon it in the US, you can hit a cat and leave though.

how you feel about the shovel man

You have to take into account different cultures. In Western culture the dog is an extension of the family.

Canines are still EATEN in many parts of China, most just don't have the empathy for the animal that we do.

Westerners have also been so removed from culling of the animals we eat, that to see a animal in pain gives us distress.

The Chinese are not so removed. The country still has wet markets where animals are killed on the spot and sold to customers. Hence they barely bat a eye seeing one in pain.

Indeed.

Happens all over asia, this is why the whole world is now suffering and dying from Covid-19.

"food market"

I noticed that the video was on a Chinese channel. I read that the Chinese government knows how this looks to the rest of the world, and is trying to change the cultural dynamic regarding dogs.

There is also a annual dog food fest (Chinese eating dogs) that the government is trying to shame people out of attending.

You can bet that they will also be cracking down on the wet meat markets soon

The Chinese may act tough, but are keenly aware of their world image.

Thanks for posting this, as distrubing as it was to watch.

truly disturbing, yes.

there is no need to eat this.

a billion people in europe and india don't even eat meat at all.
so no excuse for eating, dogs, cats, snakes and bats
