At the very least, this will result in a "universal basic income" which really just means never-ending debt, deficits, inflation, and currency devaluation. Now that citizens in so many countries have gotten a taste of "free money" printed on demand by the government, they will never want to work more than 20 hours a week ever again. It will be buyer's remorse once they realize that their monthly "free money" can't cover even the most basic needs.
