Wait so Lizzo is morbidly Obese, but fires her dancers for gaining weight??

I understand if you’re a JLo or Beyoncé and you need your dancers to be fit and in shape, but Lizzo is over 400 lbs. And her brand is “Baby I’m big and beautiful and you can be too!” So then she fires and fat shamed her dancers?? Makes no sense at all. Even her publicist should be telling her “if you’re promoting obesity as OK, you can’t fire your talent for being the same way.”

Interesting - she won Record of the Year at the Grammys earlier this year and was the talk of the town. Even depriving Beyoncé herself of the award. Now cancel culture wants her gone. This is why it’s not good to be a celebrity as an artist. Social medial will ruin your whole career, and you will lose endorsements.

Other fat black women had this happen to them in Hollywood - since white Americans can only handle a few sassy big black girls on their roster. It happened to MoNique. It happened to Tiffany Haddish (thank God) and it happens to Gabby Sidibe (from the movie Precious).

Lizzo is no different. Once she’s gone they will pluck another fat performer on TikTok and everyone will praise her for being herself and eating Dunkin Donuts. Then she’ll fire the caterers for eating the donuts on set and suddenly it will happen again.
