I can tell just by looking at his picture, and my instincts in cases like this are seldom wrong. I just want to give him power of attorney and my credit card numbers for some reason.

Ditto. That's exactly what he did. He's a cynical politician first.

My religious beliefs and morality are my private concern. DeSantis is a blowhard who wants the state to enforce his version of morality. And he only does that to pander to the fundamentalist Christian voting bloc, not because he has any strong ethical convictions himself.
