I watched some of the trail....and a few Deadline shows....I dont know all the facts....
But, The worst I heard about Travis was......He was a pretty religious person and was having sex....
I think Him and Jody met through church....dated a while and eventually started having sex even though it was a major "No No" in the church/Beliefs....
Its seem he also started seeing other girls and having sex with other girls too when Him and Jody were in the middle of breaking up and getting back together over and over again...
again I could be wrong here and may have missed something....But This doesnt sound "Bad" to me...
he falls into literally about 90% of males....Usually Males start behaving like this around Junior high, Get their first girlfriend, eventually have sex....Then spend the Next 6 to 8 years of high school and college having sex with as many girls as they can...
To me just seem like Travis started this behavior later due to his religion
Or imagine You were fat all through high school, never had a girlfriend or never had The Typical "Male" high school experience with many girls
you then lose a ton of weight around 25 and are now attractive....It would make you "Bad" or evil to get a girlfriend, start experiencing amazing sex you been missing out....
from what I remember Travis was a virgin, He started having sex with Jodi and to HIM it would have Literally been Like everyone else's first "Teenage sexual experiences"......He was basically Having His "High School first sex experiences" with Jodi and then other girls in his mid 20s
I dont see how that remotely makes him "Bad" or Evil.....I guess if you are deeply religious, You may find it very disappointing....
But Literally Just having sex with your first girlfriend in your mid 20s and then having sex with other girls isnt evil

Men like travis are the ones who reject women they are compatible with then get married to a woman they grow miserable with and cheat on her. It’s insane. Sexual compatibility matters. travis didn’t deal with it in a realistic way.
