What specifically are people attracted to in this guy?

I have listened to him a few times, and there are things he
says I would either agree with or not argue about, but I find
him disagreeable because he seems to take ownership of the
bloody obvious and then try to use it to support right-wing
ideals, or right-wing people who make him a celebrity.

On other levels he is a looney. For example he had to go
through re-hab. Another is that he was telling people all
he ate was meat - nothing else.

Why would some people decide to be disciples of Peterson
when they know or find out stuff like that?

What is Peterson's main point or belief.

What I like about him is that he is no resistant to talking
about things that are difficult to talk about. I always like
a good philosophical discussion, and to discuss values and
what they mean, where they come from, and why we need
them, but these are things that are not partisan, and yet
everything JP says always seems to get politicized or used
in a partisan way.

What is it you like or dislike about Jordan Peterson. I'd love
to see any You-Tube links that are either really good or really
bad according to viewers and how they view him.

The man is both hyper-articulate and hyper-rational, and is able to put into extremely clear words what other people have only vaguely been thinking. He is also a total class act, who will debate anyone while maintaining respect and dignity, regardless of their political/philosophical views. The question is, who DOESN'T have something to learn from someone like Jordan Peterson?

In your opinion. Other people, a lot of other people disagree.

reply

No they don’t, the Left hate him precisely because he’s right and efficiently debunks their ideology.

reply

He’s quite liberal and has admitted as such on hundreds of occasions. If anyone on the left hates him, it’s those on the extreme left. Certainly not the Democratic Party as it exists for most people in the United States. He himself has stated multiple times that he disagrees with The ideology espoused by conservatism, and especially those on the far right.

reply

He rejects the Far Left and Right but he’s something of a centre-Right religious conservative.

reply

He’s not religious in the traditional sense of the word. He has said this many, many times. An example of that can be found here:

reply

He doesn’t go to church but describes himself as deeply religious and has hundreds of hours of bible lectures online.

Centre-right religious conservative is the most accurate description of him politically.

Click on the link in my last post. It’ll explain everything.
