She's a Very Talented Actress...Surprisingly

Granted, nepotism may have played it's part in her career, she does have the talent to make her own mark. She's very good at what she's doing so far. More than you would expect for someone her age and with her background.

There are many beautiful children with famous/wealthy parents who crash and burn onscreen no matter how much they thrust them into our faces, but she's brilliant on The Leftovers so there is definitely hope for her.

I only say 'surprisingly' when calling her a talented actress because as we all know, famous parents can have some pretty untalented children who parade in front of the media and the world as if they have a backpack full of Oscars and accolades.
Those are the ones that you can just tell that 'Daddy had a hand in his/her music career'.

Maybe they've left me jaded and with low expectations.

In any case, good for her on her current body of work and whatever the future may hold for her career.

I've got high hopes. Surprisingly

I agree. I didn't actually know she was Andie's daughter until 10 seconds ago and I've quite enjoyed her in the leftovers. At first I thought she was a one note actress similar to Kristin Stewart but as the show progressed I came to change my view on that.
All that before finding out who her parents were shows me she has some good talent. Hope it continues.

Yes, and she continues to impress.
A beauty and a talented actress.

She's holding her own against a very strong cast of actors too, which is not an easy thing to do.

wvsarafan was right.
This time your usage was right when you wrote-It's not my problem.
But it was wrong when you wrote-Nepotism may have played it's part in her career.
It should be-Nepotism may have played its part in her career.

'It's' is a shortened version for 'it is'. So you were right when you wrote-It's(It is) not my problem.
But does this sound right- Nepotism may have played it is part in her career? Of course not. In this case, 'its' is used to denote possession. In such cases, you can't write 'it's'. You have to write 'its'.
