Favorite Female Lead On Arrow

Of the three young female leads on Arrow, Katie, Willa, Emily, I'm a fan of all three, but Emily Rickards humorously slightly awkward smart blonde Felicity Smoak is definitely my favorite. And I'm glad Felicity is getting more screen time, sort of joining Team Arrow in the Dodger episode. Maybe someday Arrow and Felicity can be a couple.

Em's been upped to a full time regular... Yeah! I'm sure she'll get plenty of screen time now!

Without a doubt the best female character on the show this far.
The more Felicity, the better that show will be!

reply

Agreed, not only is Felicity Smoakin' (sorry couldn't resist!) but, she is portrayed by Emily as the smart sassy geek girl that any geek guy (speaking personally) could easily fall for.

Katie and Willa have the charisma of milk, though. Their careers will hit the wall at 30.

Oh, but as for looks, all three. Oh yeah. All three. Then here comes Summer Glau!

reply

Well, I've seen Katie and Willa in other movies or TV shows, I think they're decent actors. (Willa's step-Dad used to be Brian DePalma.)
I like Summer Glau, but so far her character is an ice queen. The robot she played on Sarah Conner Chronicles was more likable. But since I posted my original comment, Emily was made a regular and her role is a lot bigger. Definitely on Team Emily, and she's only 22.

she, like Lois & Chloe in smallville, have made Laurel completely pointless & irrelevant so far in season 2. Hopefully they can just scrap Laurel completely, as she never should have even been there, & maybe spin off Katie into her own show based on the REAL Black Canary.

I mean, if you look at the cast picture on Hulu, Felicity stands right next to Oliver, while Laurel is off in the background.

reply

Emily! Hands Down.

If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything!

Felicity is a lot like Chloe was on "Smallville." Chloe was already leaving Lana behind before Lois even showed up. I think they originally planned to kill her off but she just became too popular. That's already true about Felicity.
