The Spanish FA digging their heels in and now threatening legal action against the player:-

Interesting case. Clear desire to #metoo him but I did think him saying specifically that it was "consentual" was the wrong way to phrase it.

Inevitably that led to the player disputing that but we now have the Spanish FA saying:-

"The evidence is conclusive," it said. "Mr President has not lied."

Now threatening legal action against Jenni Hermoso.

The Spanish FA appears to be bowing to the pitchforks and have activated their "sexual violence protocol" in response to the celebratory kiss.

the players all thought it was hilarious and great on the bus laughing. then magically its sexual assault? shes looking for her metoo moment and spotlight

To be fair, I don't think it was her. At least not initially. The movement is just too strong and lacking in any subtly. They've pretty much forced her involvement in his crucifixion.

That bus video was interesting. Especially as, like you said, they were all laughing about it and he wonders up the bus quite sheepishly and embarrassed.

It's horrible if you watch the incident because it's absolutely without any sexual malice. The guy is quite clearly bouncing off the walls with joy and happiness for their achievement and just wants to share it with them (not just her) emotionally.

He was embarrassed about being so child like and OTT in his celebrations but it's a hard sell to say that's a sexual assault.
