Every team I've ever played on had chemistry issues. Some good, some great, some bad.
I doubt most of the players on that team actually wanted to kneel, indeed, only two didn't. Did she exert pressure on them? Did they see other American Olympians of color embrace the flag and their country and wonder if they were being pressured to be on the wrong side of history?
I suspect Rapinoe created a lot of division and dissension on that team. It would certainly explain the lousy play if the age of the team doesn't.
I think this lousy Olympics is all Rapinoe. The team needs a thorough house cleaning, starting with those that are playing for a country they hate.
I 100% agree. Also as someone who's played a lot of sport, team dynamic is pretty much everything after a certain skill.
History is riddled with teams with less skill that have won championships, because they've found that harmonious team dynamic.
I can't stand solo or Rapinoe but solo was gone from the team before Rapinoe or the team even kneeled
