Another movie series that should have just called it quits.

I know that it's a little harsh to judge a movie that's not even out yet, but if this is the best they can do to replace Jason Steatham, then they should have just left this series alone. I'll be surprised if this movie grosses anything near the originals. At least they didn't cast the "nut job" Tom Cruise who has been brainwashed by the biggest cult and pyramid scam that has ever exsisted, The Church of Scientology, for the role. I'm sure this movie would suck. If the IRS would revoke their rediculious tax exemption status, the United States could be a debt free country.

Cruise would never take over the role of another actor. He's too big for that.

I agree they should have retired the franchise when Statham declined to reprise his role but The Transporter series is an easy money maker at least on opening weekend when not competing against blockbuster films. What they should have done was a prequel with a younger actor showing how and why Frank got into the business. Show his past as a delinquent kid raised by a single mother with a non-existent, deadbeat or maybe deceased father. Runs with a street gang or three then his mother makes him enlist in the military for eight years where he excels and becomes special forces/black ops. Comes home and takes a job as a taxi driver where one night, some mysterious passenger hands him a package with some directions plus 500 pounds and he ends up evading gangsters and crooked cops trying to deliver the package. After being paid an additional 1500 pounds upon delivery, he decides to become a full time courier. THE END. *takes bow*.

Hollywood is truly out of ideas and is DONE with hiring new writing talent to come up with original ones. I swear 5 years from now I could conceivably retire from my absolute love of movie watching. Sad...

I wasn't expecting you or "everyone else" to "do some research into" anything. You're the one who said: "But there's more original films coming out now, than ever before", implying that you already knew a number of original films and could at least mention a few titles. That has nothing to do with "researching" anything.

If you're unable to give any examples, that's fine. I'll just assume you were simply talking out of your ass.
