Daario
Is he douchey enough to pull it off? Time will tell!
shareHe looks the part! I just hope they don't give him blue hair and a yellow mustache or whatever he had in the books LOL. He seems to have that cocky look to play Daario perfectly.
shareYes, he does have a bit of a cheeky grin in his IMDB pictures. Yeah, I'm not sure how they can give him blue hair, sexy swords, and all the trimmings without making him look ridiculous. Or maybe that's the point?
shareI'm already a big fan of Ed Skrein, he was amazing in Ill Manors, I know his music and I'm mega confident he'll pull off Daario, Blue hair and all, yellow beard notwithstanding lol.
I really really like Ed, so I'm making early predictions on this one... he's gonna be Tom Hardy big...
so he is the 2nd dude who will do the dragon lady aye...
shareWhy the *beep* did they cast that ridiculous pretty boy to play a mercenary?! He's terrible and he doesn't look the part at all.
In his first scene, he's so bad, you'd think he's an extra. Damn.
For every lie I unlearn I learn something new - Ani Difranco
you had me until the cheesy Ani Difranco quote. Geesh.
shareMight want to update the filmography.
Well...it's a TV show. His character is out to seduce one of the prettiest women on the show who has transformed from an innocent girl who was used by her family-- to a strong and charismatic leader. I have not read the books but I know what Daario is supposed to look like from some of the coms I have read. I just think, visually, the blue hair and funky beard and gold mustache-- it makes for great reading-- but to visualize Dany with that guy...no. I love to read but often, what is brilliant on the page would not translate well on screen. ...and despite the fact that Daario looks like a guy from a romance novel-- I thought Ed Skrein did a really good job with the role. He's a whole bag of macho trouble.
I understand your point-- you would prefer his character be more "Gladiator" than "Sex in the City".
...and I like your name btw...
