Yeah nothing worse than an actress standing up for herself when she has strangers saying horrible things to her for no other reason that she doesn't live up to their standards of what someone in a Star Wars film should be. What an egotistical bitch.
I liked her before but after reading that article I like her even more.
The fact that she cares so deeply what “strangers” think of her is all the proof I need to determine that she’s emotionally weak and probably a sjw who plays the victim card. It’s time she grows up and gets thicker skin.

You don't understand why she cares what a stranger thinks of her but I don't understand what motivates a person to say such hateful things about a stranger who has done nothing to deserve that. Lots of people are emotionally weak (not saying she is or isn't, but many people, myself included go through periods of self doubt). Doesn't make them bad people. If you're unable to show compassion for someone like this I get it and that's no big deal. I just don't understand why you find her worthy of scorn.

True. She's just an actress who jumped at the chance to be in a Star Wars movie. If her character was written halfway decent, she wouldn't have been so insufferable. I'm sure Kelly Marie Tran is perfectly nice in real life.
