He's a jerk regarding Vikings spoilers

what a jerk this guy is. I dont care if he has plans for his career and future. Athelstan was a great character and he shouldnt have died the way he did.

He's so selfish. It's as if he doesnt even care he embodied an amazing character that cant be replaced. I cant believe he wants to focus on some other show where he gets to star in or something.

Does anyone know what he is leaving vikings to be in? He was a pretty interegral character on a popular show. Looking at his imdb resume i dont see any upcoming shows where he is the star. He's only got a couple (short)s.

How dare he want to focus on his own interests. So *beep* selfish. Doesnt he care about what i want?! what an *beep*

The only one person who's selfish is you. I'm sad to see Athelstan dying, but it was Michael Hirst's decision, not George, and even if Blagden wanted to leave the show I can't blame him. He is an actor and maybe he was sick of playing minor characters even as endearing as they were? He got his first big, main role in another show called "Versailles". I wish him all the best.

I would say you are a jetk for not bothering to read about his exit from Vikings. He did NOT want to leave, but did so graciously. Read the interviews with those involved, might prevent you from sounding like a damn fool.

Blagden has NO say in the matter. He was written out by the showrunner who wanted to end his storyline.

Only just got into Vikings and love the Athelstan/Ragnar dynamic. As sad to see him go as Ragnar but them's the breaks. Like SB, I'm sure it wasn't his choice.
