As much as I hate to extend this ridiculous subject, I felt I had to defend Tye here. He was rumored to have possibly been a lead in The Force Awakens before they changed screenwriters, and he very well may be the young Han Solo for the Anthology movie. He was ONLY ruled out as Spider-Man because he was already a part of 20th Century Fox's Marvel movies.

My point:
I'm sure Bryan Singer did everything he could to get Tye Sheridan, not the other way around.

Tye does whatever Tye WANTS to.
