Read this ebook which was written by UK comedian Dominic Holland (Tom's dad), who has been trying (unsuccessfully) to break into Hollywood moviedom as a writer for decades. Holland writes of his own early career and his friendships with some relatively famous people (and some made up stories of famous people he used to impress people).
It details Tom's long audition process for BILLY ELLIOT and his eventual success on stage, and then leads up to Tom's movie debut in THE IMPOSSIBLE and the filming of that movie around the world.
It is quite a good book and has a lot of insight on parenting and young people in the business. But it is also lives up to the title of the book when, every time Dom starts telling us about HIS career we end up thinking, "Great, but when are you going to get back to TOM?"
