On the Agents of SHIELD Boards...

Anytime they complain of the lack of diversity on the show someone leaps up to proclaim Chloe's half asian heritage...thing is, on the show and as probably the case in real life unless shes filling out an application she more or less identifies as a typical 'white chick'.

Just funny to me.

There aren't boards like in plural, just one board and many many many threads.
Some of them are about Chloe.

What is "typical" about caucasian women?

Well, she did pop songs in chinese. That is more asian than white I'd say.
But really, why should one care which race she identifies more with?

Mandarin or Cantonese? Or was it in Pǔtōnghuà? Xiang? Wu? Yue? Min?

It must be an American thing. Coming from a hugely diverse South Pacific country, where everyone tends to be mixed race of some kind, we tend to look at someone like her and go, 'Dayum, she's cute!' and that's it. Dissecting her racial mix seems an odd thing to do.

My mum and dad are different races. I was about 18 before I realized it.
