Why her performance in 'Evil Dead' is so impressive

She basically plays multiple roles with just one character, and nails each part. She handles each character change effortlessly.

I agree, she was incredibly creepy as the demon. Her fear and pain were very convincing as well.

The problem is that she is too adorable, as crazy as that sounds. Even tons of gross make-up, vomit and blood couldn't hide her cuteness, even in her demon form i would've made out with her and that's not due to pervertness on my side! Haha, exactly my thoughts. She was still adorable as the demon. I loved the cute demon Jane. But that's hardly her fault now, is it? She did an impressive performance in a rather mediocre movie.

You couldn't wait to see it again? :p

I said this in another thread but what Jane delivered was 100% what Fede intended, if anyone has any qualms with the performance, then I feel like the blame should fall to him to a degree for not reining her in. I loved the movie and her performance though, so they struck the right balance for me at least.

Actually the director did a amazing job at making a Evil Dead movie. I'm not trying to be a ass, but are you a horror fan or a fan of the previous 3 Evil Dead movies? I ask because the Evil Dead franchise is supposed to be over the top, cheesy, vulgar, and filled with a ton of blood. Everyone I know dug this movie because they didn't mess with that formula.

Also I heard if this movie did well there are plans for 2 more. I heard it did well so you might have to see her as Mia a couple more times.
