I really don't understand why some actors are so stupid and start shitting on the fans of their shows or movies who they then need to come and see those shows.

I mean I get it that it's unpleasant and hurtful when fans are against you. But what they don't get is that fans are not hating you as a person. They hate your character and the way showrunners make stupid decisions for their beloved shows. And you need to separate yourself from the character you play and don't pay attention.

Instead some idiots start attacking fans and call them names. It's war they will never win. They will just hurt their career.

No one hates Daisy Ridley. Despite not liking Rey. Because actress never shitted on anyone. She did her job, promoted movies and moved on.

Everybody hated Game of thrones finale. But actors wisely kept their mouth shut mostly and not attacking fans. And no one hates actors. They hate showrunners and show.
