Well she does not act like the Mary Jane of the comics. But that is the writers' and director's fault. Then again Kirsten Dunst didn't act much like comic book MJ either. Gwen in the Amazing Spider-Man films was more likable imo.

Zendaya actually surpassed the version of the comics. A more realistic and grounded character that breaks the typical stereotype.

I prefer the comics version. But I like the comics more than the movies. Well, with some exceptions like Marvel Civil War.
