america wasn't built by the rich just siphoning every last bit away they could and the poor being left with the crumbs. People forget at one time education was affordable, and the middle class was so large and rich and easy to join that all Americans had high standards of living and access to healthcare.
unfortunately the rich wanted to steal every penny they could and starting refusing to not only pay Americans their fair share for their work, but have refused to pay their own fair share in taxes. Im okay with cutting some things, but if you live in a household that your boss is refusing to pay you wha you deserve, cutting costs will only get you so far.

its why the USA ranks like 30th in terms of social mobility. They are being ran laps around by other countries who haven't let their elites completely crush and oppress the other classes.
the elites who benefited from americas affordable schools and jobs now have made it, and have burned the bridges behind them fighting for cuts to them so they have to pay slightly less taxes. They dont care they can afford to send their kids to Harvard who cares if university is affordable!
if you its normal a self proclaimed billionaire (at least millionaire) paid less than 1000$ in taxes over years is sustainable I dont know what to tell you. police, schools, roads, the military, the courts ect do not run off unicorn farts and pixie dreams
