I think she seems nerves cause her character is suppose to be a bit anxious and unsure of herself.. I don't think they would have piced her if she was lacking profession.

Emily is supposed to be that way I believe. Anyway, if Shay couldn't act like the writers, directors and casting crew wanted Emily to be she wouldn't have been cast, it's as simple as that.

That's not her being nervous, that's the character being nervous. She is ACTING. The fact that you believed it's really her means she is a vey good actress.
In real life she is pretty different, watch some of her interviews, she is not nervous or insecure at all.
