I wonder if she regrets

leaving Teen Wolf. She left it to pursue other roles, right? I don't think she's been in anything since Teen Wolf. I think she left prematurely. Of course, it's her life and she had the right to make that choice, but if I were her, I'd be regretting it!

Of course she regrets it. Before she was all over the red carpets, events, and was all over gossip sites like Just Jared. Now, her career has been fizzled out. I also think her quitting to pursue other roles was just a bluff. I honestly think she left because she couldn't stand being on the same set as her ex. The jokes on her, because he left the same season as her. She shouldn't have committed to her character being killed off, that way she could have atleast came back as Alison eventually.

Look at Dylan O'Brien. He's not only with the show but doing big screen films as well. She could have stuck with Teen Wolf until she made more of a name for herself, that whole "I'm going to pursue other roles" is just bs. She left because of her ex, which is extremely unprofessional. I wish she would come back to Teen Wolf. Not just as a guest, but really come back. I really liked her as Alison Argent.

Ellie888, the difference between O'brien and Reed is that Dylan is destined to be an a-list actor, and Reed isn't. Let's be honest, Crystal Reed is just the average good looking actor, with decent acting ability. She'll be lucky to star in blockbuster movies. Her best chance is a TV Series, and that was Teen Wolf. That show gave her hundreds of thousands of fans, and put her name out into the acting world. But when she left, she practically took her name back. All she's done is an Independent film, and a guest role on the show she once led.

I'm not saying she'll never work again, all I'm saying is that her career will probably only contain TV Series, guest, supporting or main, Indy films and a few major ones.

As for Dylan O'brien, he's still on Teen Wolf and he's killing it. The main character in the Maze Runner film series, which has had 2 movies which has grossed over $600.6 million, there's still a third and final film to be released in 2017. He'll also star in the film, Deepwater Horizon (based of the oil rig that exploded) with Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell and John Malkovich, so expect that to be a big film, and he's slated down for the comedy film 'Little White Corvette'.

His career is already going extremely well, and when he leaves Teen Wolf, he'll grow into one of the biggest stars on Hollywood.

โ€œDestined to be an A-list actor.โ€ You need a new crystal ball๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Iโ€™m here 8 years later. Boy, Dylan O'brien did not became A-list. His "big fame" basically ended with the last Maze Runner movie. He still works and does movies. But it's not anything close to a-list.

As for her - she vanished the moment she left Teen Woolf. So stupid from her.

You're all full of crap, leave her alone, the show has becomes crap now.

Even with the show being not as good as it used to be, the point still stands. She hasn't done that much, but she really didn't do much prior to Teen Wolf either. Honestly, I think she left for other reasons though.

As much as she said that she wanted to leave, I almost wonder if it really had very little to do with her. Jeff treats Posey and Dylan like his golden children, and it could be that she wasn't as paid as much as them. I hate to say this, but she has also aged quite a bit. She wasn't passing it off as a teenager anymore, and in the years since she quit TW, I feel like he face has changed so much that it looks like she's gotten work done. If so, that's her choice, but I thought she was already pretty. Sometimes that can hurt your career though.

I know after season 2, a lot of people really disliked Allison because of how she went off the rails. There was a lot of hate there, and I know the character redeemed herself, but by then, I think her popularity went down a bit.

I personally don't think Daniel had much to do with her leaving because he left at the same time. They also worked together for quite awhile after the breakup. Nina and Ian did on TVD for years after they dated, and although she left too, when you're an actor, there is a certain level of professionalism that takes place. Ultimately it is your choice to date someone that you work with, and you know it might not turn out. If you can't handle it after the outcome, that's on you then. I don't think he was the reason she left, or vice versa.

I feel like the main reason she left is why a lot of the others have left. Yes, she wants to pursue other roles, but also because she knows the other roles she gets might actually be more worthwhile and potentially pay more. Teen Wolf hasn't been good for awhile, and Jeff Davis has made remarks about how he loses his actors to the CW or elsewhere. Well, the CW pays more, they also have incredibly loyal fanbases, and shows sometimes last a lot longer than they would on a network like MTV.

You have Adelaide Kane who ended up being the lead in Reign. The ratings aren't the greatest, but it got picked up for a 4th season.

You have Colton Haynes who went to Arrow, and it's going to be starting it's 5th season. Now that he's had time to process his personal life, he plans to return. He hasn't returned to Teen Wolf though, has he?

Daniel Sharman was in season 2 of The Originals, and quite frankly, he got to shine ten times more on that show than he ever got to on TW.

Now you have Tyler Hoechlin who is going to be playing Superman in Supergirl, and he is going to be in the Fifty Shades sequels. Are you going to stick around with a show that pays you probably 4 figures, or are you going to go to the CW that pays you 5 figures. I'd say 6, but the only show I know that pays that is Supernatural to Jared and Jensen. Still, the actors on there make thousands of dollars, and get a lot more recognition than they do on Teen Wolf. Again, it's also a teen show, and so it doesn't help them branch out.

Yes, I love Dylan, and he's doing well for his self in movies, but that's because of his talent. Everyone he works with says he's amazing to work with, and people have even said he's going to win an Oscar someday. Personally, his biggest mistake is that he actually stays with Teen Wolf. I love Stiles, I do, and I'd be sad if the character left, but him trying to fit it in with all the other bigger projects he does is just foolish at this point.

And let's be honest, I think most of them have known TW has been kind of crappy for awhile.

reply

This was so stupid of her. I actually couldn't believe she left to pursue other projects. I though she was fired or something.

She vanished the moment she left. How on earth she could think she can have bigger career then lead in popular tv show? With her mundane face. Nothing screams "interesting" about her. People didn't even like Allison that much. She was boring. But she was lead and it felt weird after she died. Specially when her father stayed. And it was awkward.

When stupid actors leave because they think they are bigger now - don't kill off character. Make them move to other place and leave door open for return. You know they will in few years, after sitting without job.

Crystal Reed left "Teen Wolf" following Allison's heartbreaking death . It was a shocking moment, but it might not have happened if Reed had wanted to stick around. However, the performer felt that she'd accomplished everything she could have while playing Allison and decided to leave "Teen Wolf" to pursue other projects. "Creatively, there were things I wanted to do differently," she told. "I wanted to explore other avenues of film and TV. I wanted to jump into different characters... So I went to Jeff [Davis] and talked about it, and he said, 'We'll write you a great ending.'"

That said, the decision to leave "Teen Wolf" wasn't an easy one for Reed. She enjoyed playing Allison and developed a bond with the character. Understandably, it took a while for her to get used to life after the MTV series. "It's so hard for me to let go of [Allison]," Reed added. "I went into, like, a week of mourning because a part of me left with a part of her. She'll always be there with me. I'm so proud of her. I don't think I would have been so upset that she died if she wasn't so special to me.
