Identified as “queer” at 14 (but was she really?)

Blanchard tweeted in 2016 that she identified as queer, saying, “In my life — only ever liked boys. However I personally don’t wanna label myself as straight, gay or whateva so I am not gonna give myself labels to stick with — just existing.”

A fan asked Blanchard to elaborate, and she said she was “open to liking any gender in future” and that’s the reason she identifies as queer.

The actress said she got negative responses on Twitter after her comments, and seemed disappointed at the reaction.

She responded, “I thought I was being brave and was proud of myself and then everyone attacks me.”

So basically she had no idea what she was. No clue how she “identifies” today.

But I’d love to see her in a lesbian sex scene in a movie. Or two.

I think this is just attention seeking, some girls thinking being queer is trendy and sexy.

Well, as Charlie said in TAHM:"Girls can experiment, guys have to pick a team and stay with it."

It's Hollyweird. If you're paying attention, you'll notice that there are more female celebrities who will at least vaguely identify as something other than straight, compared to those who have publicly "come out" as heterosexual. Most are just assumed straight because they're married to men or only known to have ever dated men & never explicitly addressed their sexuality. That is until they randomly announce their membership to the alphabet cult at 40(Allison Brie-One example of many). Just google it & you'll see how hard it is to find anything. Honestly it just shows how much of this sexual identity business is a toxic, insincere mix of grooming, social/peer pressure & all-around pandering.

Identifying as queer is the new having a tiny dog in your bag.

I would say it's the new goth or emo - something to mark yourself out as different and irritate your parents. The non-binary stuff is definitely a fad. It's easy to claim the status without changing your behaviour or making permanent changes.
