Not to mention they framed and imprisoned his supporters then barricaded the white house with barbed wire and troops. So no, Trump didn't attend the coup ceremony.
They barricaded the white house with barbed wire and troops
C'mon get real. I'm on your side of the aisle here but Jan 6th was a pretty big deal. They essentially tried to overthrow the US Government. You have to expect a massive response to that. It's indefensible. reply share
Point taken but did they, or did they not, invade the capitol, succeed in putting it on lockdown, and delay the validation of the election?
Maybe "takeover" is a bit strong.... but it was a successful invasion and "disruption". Guns or not, it was a big fucking deal, that cannot be trivialized.
I'll be the first to admit that MSNBC and CNN dwelled on it for wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too long.... WEEKS... but in all fairness, it really was a huge, big, disruptive, historical event, and a huge tarnish on both Trump and the GOP. They still won in 2024, a testament to just how out-of-touch the Left is.
It was a false flag that failed. The people who orchestrated it were counting on dead senators. It didn't happen which is why the MNS saying it was worse than WWII and 911 falls on deaf ears.
There were 'outside forces' at play which I hope we get to the bottom of soon. The feds where all over the place provoking people and posing as Trump supporters egging people to break barriers. There are videos of the police letting people in and giving them a guided tour of the Capital (which belongs to us and is open to the public other than this time).
There is plenty of video of antifa regulars breaking windows and of Trump supporters trying to protect the building and its contents. One such person is Ashli Babbitt who was fatally shot by capital police while trying to protect a doorway from vandalism. She is the only confirmed fatality that day. Where there Trump supporters who got out of line and needed a day or two in the slammer? I'm sure there were. But this wasn't an insurrection. Nobody was charged with that crime.
"It didn't happen which is why the MNS saying it was worse than WWII and 911 falls on deaf ears."
This right here. I cant take these people seriously when they try to equate something so disproportionately. How terrible do you have to be at analogies? Or are they just lying through their purdy teeth? Occam's razor.
I voted for Trump twice but there's not much hard evidence that the 2020 election was stolen. So the two times he won, everything was fraud-free and perfect, but somehow in-between the adversaries managed to steal it? OK, sure. Sounds like a crock to me, and his 2020/2021 behavior was all very predictable.
He's so arrogant he can't stand to lose and will make up any excuse to avoid admitting that he lost. I can understand why so many people hate him. Just the whole claim to the "largest inaugural crowd ever" vs. Obama is laughable, when photos CLEARLY show it was anything but.
There's plenty of evidence that the election was stolen but the system was corrupt and courts would not hear the evidence. Unconstitutional drop boxes were used, almost every absentee ballot cast in Pennsylvania is illegal, polling observers were not allowed to watch the vote counting as they were supposed to, republicans specifically were kicked out of some voting centers, they still have no idea how many ballot were received in drop boxes in Georgia, and Arizona poll observers testified that ballots just kept coming for days. There's plenty actually but the court systems are corrupted, as we saw with the weaponization against Trump and so much more since.
So you have an issue with him personally it seems as you're still talking about the crowd size at his first inauguration in 2016. Worthwhile thinking can't be done using an emotional brain. He's arrogant sure, but they have a word for that condition, meaning that he isn't a trailblazer here. You may have been arrogant before yourself and you may have never even became POTUS or accomplished what Trump has. It's within the range of humanity and in the grand scheme of things it's minor indeed. Don't let molehills become mountains.
I so wish I had been there to lick the tears off that stupid twat’s face
That is a very conflicting statement to make. You seem to detest her, but to lick her face seems to indicate you are rather infatuated with her. reply share
