That is like racism! Do not make fun of someone's skin color!
That being said, I thought her speech was very good. I didn't care for the first 8 or 9 minutes of it, she dug a little too deep into "skin color" and "race" but everything else she said was well above average. In fact, that was the best speech of her political life, hands down. On the flip side, it will be hard to top that. We'll see if she can do it.
I still think she has a long ways to go in order to win this election. We still have the debates and a lot of campaign stops left. And truth is, a lot of people view her newly found rise as something she didn't actually earn. And her comments on the border, while strong, lack practicality. You just can't offer free incentives for people to walk (or swim) across our border and then tell us your tough on illegal immigration. Nope, it just doesn't compute.
You also can't fan the flames of war in the Ukraine without alienating a lot of people that are against military intervention. She mentions how she will "support our NATO allies" that's all well and good but Ukraine is not a NATO member. A lot of people are getting tired of us getting involved in so many conflicts around the world. But the dems have become the party of war.
Her speech lacked any clear direction too. Sure, she makes nice comments on "housing, healthcare" and whatnot, which is funny because the democrats have been telling us about "housing" since the 60s but again, a more defined message would have helped.
There's a few other things she said that I might address later on but this is it for now...

That being said, of course, it's not his real skin color, I was being facetious. Although, when lefties do this it does make them look phony.

Of course people are tired of getting involved in conflicts around the world. But it's not like we had a hand in starting either the Israeli/Hamas war or Putin's invasion of Ukraine. We have supported Israel from its inception and we won't stop now. But at the same time we are trying to broker a peace in Gaza. As for Russia/Ukraine, I don't think we have a choice but to try to stop Putin's aggression, and our Nato allies, who realize the threat Putin is to them, agree.

Other than debate I think reading is the most important quality of being a politician. share
I figured she didn't write it, they always use a writer. And yeah, reading is important for politics, acting is another skill that serves them well.

Because that is what politicians are, if they don't do that, they won't have money for elections. Lying is the basic job requirement, none of them is honest.

I do think honesty is the best policy but politics has become a sort of game in this country, the best liar wins....
Sad really because we get a lot of misinformation about candidates. If you want to know the truth about a certain politician, you have to look at their voting record, it tells you where they truly stand on the issues.

shareMost of interview questions are given in advance, so they can prepare for it, but they have to memorise instead of just reading it.
Debate is harder, even their teams are still going to prepare them for all possible topics and angles.
