She is scapegoating Trump for abortion bans to gain an advantage

Nice try, Kamala. I'm not a fan of Trump myself, but he didn't have any part in banning abortions, not to mention Biden was already in office at the time. She even called Iowa's new 6 week ban a "Trump" abortion.
She is clearly trying to manipulate people into voting for her by falsely putting unmerited blame on her opponent. And is it me, or is she completely obsessed with abortion and so-called women's rights?

reply

You should be proud of abortion bans. Why are you running away from it?

Trump proudly takes credit for appointing three Supreme Court judges who ended abortion and healthcare for pregnant women. His Project 2025 aspires to a national ban and travel restrictions for pregnant women. Take credit!

reply

I have a hard time believing he'll get around to everything in Project 2025 if he won. Remember, he enjoys playing golf more than he signs papers.

The point is not that Trump didn't play a part in it, but Kamala is not mentioning these facts of Trump's involvement and that he was in the background of it, and didn't have much control over it. She's trying to manipulate the people into believing he's 100% solely responsible as a person as an excuse to gain support, regardless of what her intentions may be.

reply

Project 2025 is dangerous. Vote blue.

reply

Depends on which parts Trump chooses to embrace.

reply

They didn't end "abortion and healthcare for pregnant women." They gave the power back to the States, where it belonged in the first place.

reply

If Kamala were truly fair, she would compromise and come to an agreement as to guidelines for what states should and should not restrict. Instead she wants to make abortion accessible to every doctor's office with no basically no restrictions.

And we know that Kamala really loves being on the left compared to most other politicians, probably even more than Biden. She's the opposite of if a state were to have no exceptions except for life of mother.

reply

Nonsense. Of course, they did. Your talking point is a lie.

reply

Why do you think the individual states should have that power?

reply

The tenth amendment to the Constitution.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Eleven people shouldn't dictate policy for the entire nation. They should just rule on what is constitutional or not.

reply

That same argument was used to keep slavery legal.

And how is healthcare for women on constitutional?

reply

Trump and his supporters have been basking in the glow of repealing what they see as a "liberal" indulgence, rather than a basic freedom.

To try and make out the abortion bans are not the fruits of MAGA policy/populism is totally absurd.
