It still boggles my mind that they would choose her for their candidate.

Such a lemon of a politician! Kamala fared abysmally in the 2020 Democrat Primary and in her Vice Presidency, she achieved nothing whatsoever of value and was probably the most mocked VP since Dan Quayle. Does her ethnicity and sex alone really make her that good of a choice?

I'm still convinced the Democrats know they can't win in November, and are sacrificing Kamala rather than wasting a more viable candidate on a contest they are doomed to fail.

reply

So what? Trump is way too old to be president again. Most Americans will not vote for a 34 times convicted felon with advancing dementia so Harris will destroy Trump in November.

reply

34 is a step too many for my vote. I could live with 33.

reply

I draw the line a 23........ reminds me of Jordan.

reply

Its further proof that the position of president means very little - a potato could have the spot.

It's the people behind the potato that matter.

She's just a potato that checks some boxes.

reply

Certainly does for the Democrat rectum.

Obama is running things. He will continue to run things. If they can get their usual 38% of legitimate votes they might be able to rig their way to another 4 years. Like they did in 2020.

reply

Obama is running things!? I heard that was a widely believed theory on the far right but where on earth does it come from?

reply

Who knows? Then again, Trump has become saying more and more crazy things about many subjects as the election draws near. The problem that I understand with Kamala is that she's a bit too far on the left mindset, possibly even more than her boss.

reply

I would have like to see them try and run JD Pritzker the Governor of Illinois. It doesn't matter if you think the political machine in Illinois is insanely corrupt because if you don't vote for him you hate fat people. So they'd say. 🐷🤣

reply

It may be surprising, but I agree. She's already bungled her first action as a Presidential hopeful, and that was to attend and not alienate the leader of America's greatest ally, Israel, on his trip here. As President of the Senate Harris is a key person for that event and she ran out to make snide comments at Netanyahu.

Even if she is against Netanyahu's policies acting like a pouting teenager is not going to work.

The thing is - we can blame Donald Trump for this. If not for Trump and the extremely low bar he sets Kamala would have been replaced by a competent Democrat with more experience. She got foisted on us, as Larry David would say. Still, It is very likely that even with all Trump's money and corrupted power that he will lose to her.

Then the question becomes is he going to go yet another 4 years whining the election was stolen again?

reply

At the rate Donnie's dementia is progressing, he will be in an Alzheimer's unit having his meds mixed with pudding and spooned to him long before that.

reply

"If not for Trump and the extremely low bar he sets Kamala would have been replaced by a competent Democrat with more experience."

This is such a loaded, ignorant take that I'm surprised you have the audacity to post it. Then again, based off of what you regularly post here, it isn't that surprising.

Trump has more appeal to the masses than any Democrat that can be currently fielded. The goal is not to put out a weak candidate because that's all they have to do to win (even typing that myself makes me feel as stupid as your posting here indicates that you are), but not to waste their post valuable future candidate, aka Newsom, on a fruitless battle.

reply

They've spent 4 years hiding her away everytime she said something embarrassing. Shes one of the faces of the worst presidency ever..

But when you can steal the election who cares?!

reply

The fact that it has sent you Trumptwats into a petulant frenzy makes it appear that it was an excellent choice!

reply

Democrats did not support her 2020 run.

"I am not committed to naming any (of the potential candidates), but the people I’ve named, and among them there are four Black women."
Joe Biden

reply

I don't care a whit why you Trumptwats were sent into a petulant frenzy, it matters only that you were!

reply

How does being surprised and shocked at the ineptness and unsuitability of the Democrat's chosen candidate equal "petulant frenzy" in your mind?

That's like saying a duellist was sent into a petulant frenzy by his opponent's decision to use a water pistol in the duel.

reply

The petulant frenzy is 13 of 16 posts on the first page of her board are you lot, freaking out about one thing or another...The realization has hit that now you have the decrepit candidate suffering from cognitive decline!

reply

And you have the candidate who couldn't get any votes at all in the 2020 primary, who achieved nothing in her vice presidency, and goes off on weird, nonsensical rambles in her speeches. When's that realization going to hit?

She is in the running for President now, but remember she has never gotten a single vote that put her in this position. I'm not sure how well her undemocratic annointing will hold up once she's made some more of her awful gaffes.

reply

Imagine, openly backing the candidate who was picked simply because they met required physical checkmarks.

reply

It's proof that most people are stupid.
