Will Loras be part of the [book / possible show SPOILERS] in Season 3?
Although you can't see his face in the new "In Production" video, Loras is standing behind Olenna Tyrell in one of the royal court scenes, and I've noticed that he's not wearing the Kingsguard armour and cloak. This is odd, especially when he's in the presence of Joffrey and a large room full of people. I was surprised that the showrunners omitted the Knight of Flowers' entry into the order in the Season 2 finale, but perhaps they did it due to time constraints for that episode and to avoid having to hire an actor to play Garlan for Season 3.
Since TV!Loras is already a bit of a composite character with his gallant brother (TV!Loras was both the leader of the Tyrell vanguard and "King Renly's Ghost" at the Battle of Blackwater instead of Garlan), the HBO writers may have chosen to free him from his Kingsguard duties so that he can continue to take on some of Garlan's role. If that is the case, the Knight of Flowers may even become a marriage prospect for Sansa. Willas hasn't been mentioned yet, so I can see the showrunners going in that direction just to simplify things for non-readers.
