Not just the accent, but her expressions and style seem very American to me, especially in Terminator Genisys. Even on GoT, i thought her mannerisms felt American despite her affected or natural accent on the show.

Yes, she seems to have a very sunny disposition which isn't typically associated with Brits.

This is why she is my favourite British actress.

As for the accents, I liked her Southern accent in Above Suspicion.
