And her eyebrow movements are gigantic. They move all over the place. It's like they have a mind of their own. It's actually kind of freaky and a huge turn off.

shareI haven't watched the movie, but she does it a lot in interviews. She doesn't do it in everything she acts in, so I guess if the Me Before You crew didn't like it they would have told her to tone it down.
shareShe probably can't move them in her GoT makeup. Between that tight hairnet and wig, plus whatever makeup she has on. Not to mention it's a more serious role. Characters rarely smile on GoT...
BTW, they teach you in drama school to move your facial muscles as much as possible. This includes eyes, eyebrows, cheeks, lips, everything. She has very thick eyebrows so they stand out.
I think Emilia is just adorable! I agree that her eyebrows did steal a few scenes in Me Before You...but, her character was so delightful and captivating I didn't care.
