Emilia in "Young Han Solo: A Star Wars Story" (not an official title)

The last SW standalone was incredible but it had a dark and gritty undertone to it and most of its characters won't likely show up in another film, regrettably. 
I think SW is in dire need of humor and in addition to action and super-cool space battles, they're bringing back one of the coolest guys in film history! Thanks to Han, this film will also be packed with comedic fun!

Now that Emilia has landed a big role in the next Star Wars spin-off. I have a good feeling about her filling in for a lead role alongside Chewie and Han! :)
And they're aiming for a summer 2018 release...which sounds exciting!



God, I hope so...SW is another reason I look forward to Christmas every year, lol.

Summer release also sounds like a perfect time for a SW film...except it'll be going up against Madagascar 4 and I'd hate to miss out on either of these two films.

A pity; I was hoping Disney would use good actors for Star Wars, after all the wooden performances we have seen so far.

I think I read that Woody Harrelson is cast as Han Solo? Don't know if it is correct, but if so - this movie could be very, very good. Woody and Emilia are both terrific dramatic actors, but equally as important is that they both have a natural sense of humor which is bound to play well on the screen. The filming is going to be complete comedic madness and if even a little of that shows up in the movie, it will be a buncha fun!

Woody looks more like Chewbacca to me.  It's still unconfirmed as to whether or not he'll play Chewie in the upcoming SW standalone film. But your sources were wrong cause Alden Ehrenreich is cast as Han.

Oops you are right. I looked it up and most articles don't state what character he'll play. I remembered it wrong. Sort of makes sense since the movie is about "Young" Han Solo. Not that Woody is old or anything - but you know - he is old. Really old.

Lucasfilm hasn't confirmed on what role he shall be playing.

Yes, Woody is old...probably a bit too old to be around young'uns like Emilia, lol.
