Anybody else hate what the books do to Arya

I loved her character so much and through circumstances in the books she has turned into an unfeeling murderess. IIRC she starts the books at like eight years old for sure no more than ten? She is put through so much horror that she is scarred forever. She kills for sport. Like when she murders the singer. She is a foul mouthed little bitch by the time we get through with her. I hate all the horrors she is put through and what she becomes. It is very hard to deal with. Sorry if these are spoilers for anybody. Just needed to vent and see if anybody else knows what I am talking about. By the way the actress who portrays her is amazing and is going to grow up to be a total beauty.

She's my favorite character and the one whose story I love to read the most.

I can't wait to see where she ends up.

Me too!

I just want her back across the Narrow Sea ticking off the remaining names on her list.

PHEC!

Mine, too. We are supposed to hate what happens to this girl. All heroes and heroines must face hardship that is what makes them heroic. When Arya returns home she will be more than a match for her enemies, she will take back her name and restore honor to House Stark. Or, since George Martin is writing it her ship will sink on the way home.

He hates these cans!

Arya basically fulfills her destiny. She was never going to be a "lady" so I feel this is what she was destined for. Arya's downfall is less severe than Sansa, who expected her life to be a fairy tale.

Well i have seen both seasons so far and read till the end of "Storm of Swords"

Till now i really like all aspects of her story, her character, her fate, her skills ...

In my humble opinion the series also works really well, especially her scenes in harrenhall which differ much from the book were really great, i liked her interactions with Tywin and can't for the 3rd season to see the adaption.

One of my favorites for sure too.
I'm guessing she will turn evil, or at least very ruthless and her fate sure is dark.. poor girl! bad george!
As will Bran, I'm sure of that.

I love her character too! Especially her interactions with Gendry. I've only read to the end of the third book, and I was hoping that she and Gendry would make good on their escape, maybe go to the wall to train, grow up a bit, fall in love, learn the truth of Gendry's parentage and go back to kings landing together to avenge her family and his. Was heartbroken when George R.R. Martin separated them, and after the great flirty scene where Gendry complements her and then follows her into the stables and they have a tickle fight. way to get my hopes up Mr. Martin! I can only hope that she will come back across the narrow sea and they find each other again.
